Smuszling of Opium from the United Kingdom.
In connection with our Memorial and Appendices relevant
to the smuggling of Opium by our steamers out of the United
Kingdom into China and other countries we now enolose papera
supplementary to the appendices previously sent to you.
These
papers are mainly confidential communications from our agents
in China but we have printed then in full in the assurance that
they will be regarded discreetly and in the hope that they may be
of service to His Majesty's Government.
